SBB’s very own Paul Mills was awarded the Helen Verger Award for lifetime achievement. Congratulations from us, and we’re so honoured and pleased to have been a part of the evening! We played 45 Years (a great song by Stan Rogers) and The Gypsy Set. Photos from onstage were taken on my phone, hence the haze on anything really bright, while other photos were taken by Bryn Burnell or me from the audience.

The Goulbourn Grans work to help African grandmothers raising their grandchildren, whose parents died of AIDS. We helped the grans raise money for an excellent cause, and it was one of our best concerts to date!
The Sarah Burnell Band, in cooperation with La Ceilagh, played a successful night of music to accompany dancing in the wonderful Ceilidh tradition.
An early Saturday morning rehearsal? Never a better time – provided we have coffee and good music.
